An Army Air Corp exercise will take place on Dalton Barracks from 22nd November for a week. Bad weather in the north of the UK has meant that the exercise is being moved to Abingdon at short notice. A significant number of army personnel will be based at the site and up to 20 aircraft including helicopters will be operating from the runway.
It is likely that residents will hear a lot more army activity than usual during this time. Dates are always subject to change at the last minute.
